Named after the famous St Anton in Tirol, Arlberger sausages have been made by Stastnik since 1955. According to an old tradition, long-life sausages are carefully smoked and air-dried in 8m high chimney towers for four weeks - this is the only way to obtain their unique taste and special shelf life.
We use them as part of a "Jausen" (cold snack), or shopped into cubes when we make wurstknödel (sausage dumplings)
