Loimer Kamptal Grüner Veltiner is a vibrant and lively wine that reflects the unique terroir of the Kamptal region in Austria. This wine is made entirely from the Grüner Veltliner grape, which is known for its crisp acidity and fresh herbaceous notes. The Loimer Kamptal Grüner Veltiner has a bright, pale yellow color and aromas of lime, green apple, and white pepper, with a hint of mineral and salinity. On the palate, it is zesty and refreshing with a lively texture and flavors of citrus, peach, and a touch of spice. Fred Loimer owns 80 hectares around Langenlois, in the sunny Kamptal region of Lower Austria. Unlike many Austrian producers who go for an overly rich and sweet style, Fred gets full ripeness in the vineyard yet ferments to dryness, managing to produce wines with lovely definition, zest and balance on the palate.
