Lower Austria is well known for its wonderful vineyards and fantastic wine. Some 500 years ago, excesses of the production of white wine was used to make mustard. So was born, the Kremser mustard - named after the town situated by the Danube river between Linz and Vienna. With a slightly sweeter taste, this goes wonderfully well with all types of sausages.
